If Coinneach Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowe Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Pearse McPhil managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Tralee's Abbot Myler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the game, Coinneach Colwell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Blaire Byrne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abbot Myler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Coinneach Colwell succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2.

Pearse McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbot Myler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Abbot Myler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pearse McPhil. Brockra Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abbot Myler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 67 minutes into the game, Tralee's Abbot Myler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pearse McPhil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abbot Myler in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pearse McPhil saved Brockra Utd from getting behind. Leon John's late challenge caught a Tralee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon John helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Leon John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rowe Kirby took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pearse McPhil. Pearse McPhil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tralee's goalkeeper Blaire Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Brockra Utd's Finnigan McIan got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Rowe Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Tralee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowe Kirby couldn't finish the play.
