In the 6th minute, Rian McCready reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dinny McLiam. The goal made the score 2-0. Dinny McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roordan Ramsey in the 10th minute of play. Bowen Jameson scored 2-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flannery McDecland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Shannon Ferguson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flannery McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enda Tierney kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Flannery McDecland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barr McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roordan Ramsey in the 19th minute of play forced Ray's goalkeeper Dinny McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinny McLiam made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Rian McCready sent off a good shot on target. Dinny McLiam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roordan Ramsey in the 25th minute of the match. FC Zaragoza's Flannery McDecland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowen Jameson in the 26th minute of play. Flannery McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barr McJohnny in the 31st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Teagan McWillie put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Ray's Breannain Sheridan got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shannon Ferguson in the 44th minute of play forced FC Zaragoza's goalkeeper Flannery McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinny McLiam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toren Coyle in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barr McJohnny to make the kick off. The throw-in from Cianán McTom in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Zaragoza's Toren Coyle. Barr McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Flannery McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breannain Sheridan in the 60th minute of play forced FC Zaragoza's goalkeeper Flannery McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toren Coyle hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes, Shannon Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ray and the FC Zaragoza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ray's Shannon Ferguson got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Ray booed when FC Zaragoza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randal McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Palmer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cianán McTom was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. Breannain Sheridan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 92 minutes into the match, FC Zaragoza's goalkeeper Flannery McDecland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barr McJohnny. Barr McJohnny scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flannery McDecland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
