Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Terence Coyle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bairee Dalton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bowen Jameson in the 4th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's Britain Morrison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinny McLiam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, one of Ray:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Clarina AFC's Terence Coyle got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dinny McLiam. Bairee Dalton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shannon Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bairee Dalton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barr McJohnny in the 27th minute of play. Britain Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dinny McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shannon Ferguson came free, but Bairee Dalton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Barr McJohnny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clarina AFC the free kick. A collision led to Ray getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Barr McJohnny hit a great ball. Derry McDonald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dinny McLiam came out and tried to block the shot, but Derry McDonald slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bowen Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Clarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bean Deery. Cianán McTom struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bairee Dalton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ray. Britain Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dinny McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrie Dempsey hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Terence Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Britain Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dinny McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cianán McTom in the 72nd minute of play forced Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Clarina AFC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Bairee Dalton managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Ray's Barr McJohnny fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 78th minute, one of Clarina AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clarina AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Britain Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Britain Morrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinny McLiam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, Clarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suibhne McSteve to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Clarina AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Suibhne McWilliam hit a great ball. Cianán McTom was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Shannon Ferguson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bairee Dalton. The goal made the score 2-2. The supporters of Ray booed when Clarina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Bowen Jameson took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Bairee Dalton to make any attempt to save it. Ray's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
