Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Harley McGlenn kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Colm McWill got free with Ultan Prunty in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th match minute, Lurgan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braon Duggan to maneuver through the defense. Colm McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ultan Prunty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colm McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ultan Prunty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colm McWill in the 25th minute of the match. If Herne Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herne Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harley McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baodan Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donavan Doyle in the 34th minute of the match. Harley McGlenn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baodan Glen Crowe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Herne Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ultan Prunty having to interfere. The supporters of Lurgan FC booed when Conaghra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Harley McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lurgan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harley McGlenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harley McGlenn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baodan Glen Crowe came out and tried to block the shot, but Harley McGlenn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 63rd minute. In the 76th minute, Colm McWill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ultan Prunty was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Herne Byrne struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ultan Prunty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conaghra. In the 83rd minute, Braon Duggan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joshua Ramsey charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Ramsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Conaghra getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Joshua Ramsey hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Harley McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baodan Glen Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
