Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bar Savic got the match started through his kick off. Fiddown's Bradagain Branson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Blair McSteve, made in the 3rd minute of the game. A hard shot 7 in the game by Tyrone Murphy from a close distance when the talented Peter McPaul managed to make a qualified save. Fiddown's players were relieved. After 8 played minutes Laban got a freekick which was hit by Tyrone Murphy. In the 13th match minute, Laban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. Tyrone Murphy took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter McPaul. Peter McPaul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Laban booed when Fiddown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrence McPeter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiddown's Peter McPaul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Fiddown from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Fiddown's Bar Savic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fachtna Savic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 34 minutes on the clock, Torrans Delaney commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 35 minutes of play, Laban's Coran McSteven made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter McPaul was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bealtaine McTom's late challenge caught a Laban's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bealtaine McTom helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fiddown's Bealtaine McTom got a free kick in the 38th minute. Peter McPaul made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Tyrone Murphy sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Beckett's late challenge caught a Laban's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Beckett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Fiddown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Beckett to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Coran McSteven sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter McPaul skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patton McCollion in the 46th minute of play forced Fiddown's goalkeeper Peter McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Tyrone Murphy made the kick off in the second half. David Doyle struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fachtna Savic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiddown. Fiddown's Peter McPaul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patton McCollion in the 55th minute of play. Patton McCollion took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter McPaul. Peter McPaul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 60 minutes into the game, Laban's Tyrone Murphy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter McPaul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Peter McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory McBrandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Murphy in the 72nd minute of play forced Fiddown's goalkeeper Peter McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Coran McSteven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Tyrone Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fiddown getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aodh McOliver hit a great ball. Peter McPaul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Murphy in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Patton McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laban's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
