Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Conaghra's Colm McWill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colm McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bar Savic came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Fiddown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bar Savic couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Aodh McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiddown's supporters rose to their feet, but Aodh McOliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baodan Glen Crowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Bar Savic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fiddown's Edwin Beckett got a free kick in the 15th minute. Colm McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter McPaul having to interfere. Baodan Glen Crowe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bar Savic's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Bar Savic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herne Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Colm McWill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bar Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Baodan Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Desmond McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fiddown booed when Conaghra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Colm McWill rounded Fiddown's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 67th minute, Bar Savic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fiddown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Baodan Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bar Savic in the 73rd minute of the match. Bar Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conaghra's Terence McWillie got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Terence McWillie off the ground. The supporters of Fiddown booed when Conaghra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bar Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Aodh McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiddown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aodh McOliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bar Savic might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baodan Glen Crowe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bar Savic ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Conaghra's Herne Byrne got a free kick in the 91st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fiddown fully deserved thier win.
