Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Binnech Taylor started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Cloghernagh's goal looked a bit too open when Declan Murphy came free, but Ardán McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan McFrank succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. Declan Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Bodenstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Becan Frankson came free, but Dónal Bayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dónal Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Becan Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bodenstown FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Becan Frankson scored to the left of an out of position Dónal Bayes, making the score, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, one of Cloghernagh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cloghernagh. Declan Murphy walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Dónal Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Becan Frankson in the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Cloghernagh's goal looked a bit too open when Declan Murphy came free, but Ardán McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Cloghernagh's Biddy Doherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dónal Bayes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The supporters of Bodenstown FC booed when Cloghernagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keeghan Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Binnech Taylor lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Ardán McPhil. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloghernagh's goalkeeper Ardán McPhil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Bodenstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Becan Frankson came free, but Dónal Bayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Alan McFrank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After having played for 68 minutes, Brennon Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloghernagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brennon Cassin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Binnech Taylor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ardán McPhil was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Dónal Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan McFrank in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Bodenstown FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bairne McAaron hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Alan McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dónal Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bairrionn McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodenstown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bairrionn McWilliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardán McPhil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Bairrionn McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dónal Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Becan Frankson in the 89th minute of the match. Dónal Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan McFrank, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
