Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ennis Tracy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Kilkea Utd booed when Ballyguin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aubrey McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartel Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Binnech Keegan in the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Blathma McDecland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyguin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blathma McDecland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Bracken Mulvihill notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe. Bartel Crowe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Harrigan Hunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russ McDecland's late challenge caught a Ballyguin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Russ McDecland helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Kilkea Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ McDecland to maneuver through the defense. After 32nd play minutes Bracken Mulvihill shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Bartel Crowe and just under the crossbar into goal. Tomás Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearalt McAlphie having to interfere. Kilkea Utd's Gearalt McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Kelly in the 48th minute of play.

In the 51st match minute, Kilkea Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ McDecland to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ennis Tracy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gearalt McAlphie was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ballyguin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aubrey McPaul in the 54th minute. Aubrey McPaul made a great header on Ballyguin's corner, it was just that Kilkea Utd's Gearalt McAlphie managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 62nd minute, Binnech Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartel Crowe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bracken Mulvihill in the 64th minute. Bracken Mulvihill might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartel Crowe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bracken Mulvihill ran back to his position shaking his head. Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ballyguin from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Kelly in the 78th minute of play forced Kilkea Utd's goalkeeper Gearalt McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bracken Mulvihill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartel Crowe was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ballyguin's Blathma McDecland got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ballyguin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevis Mullan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kilkea Utd's players had a chance to rest. Kevis Mullan made a great header on Kilkea Utd's corner, it was just that Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 85th minute, Binnech Keegan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartel Crowe. The goal made the score 0-3.
