The supporters of Letterlough booed when Kilkea Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branson Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Berke Frankson fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Letterlough's protests and gave Berke Frankson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Berke Frankson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Damian Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kilkea Utd's Binnech Keegan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Roland Dimson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binnech Keegan in the 20th minute. When Bracken Mulvihill fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilkea Utd's protests and gave Bracken Mulvihill a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Kilkea Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bracken Mulvihill. Rollin McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearalt McAlphie having to interfere. When Bowen McBjarton fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilkea Utd's protests and gave Bowen McBjarton a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Letterlough booed when Kilkea Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bowen McBjarton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kilkea Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bodibeve Glen Crowe came free, but Gearalt McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reidy Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearalt McAlphie having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Binnech Keegan could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Roland Dimson however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rollin McFrancise in the 42nd minute of play forced Kilkea Utd's goalkeeper Gearalt McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kilkea Utd getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Russ McDecland hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Berk McNamee hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bodibeve Glen Crowe might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearalt McAlphie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bodibeve Glen Crowe ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter McOliver in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gearalt McAlphie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roland Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bracken Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bracken Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Reidy Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Letterlough booed when Kilkea Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bracken Mulvihill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Letterlough defense, Bracken Mulvihill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Dimson. The Letterlough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Dimson should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Rollin McFrancise reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gearalt McAlphie. The goal made the score 2-1. Berke Frankson got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Damian Dalton. Kilkea Utd's Gearalt McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barde Silke in the 92nd minute of play. Binnech Keegan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Branson Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Letterlough's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kilkea Utd had won, even though Letterlough had held more of the ball.
