Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Dalton started the match with the kick off. Reidy Lavine might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartel Crowe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reidy Lavine ran back to his position shaking his head. Beacan Robinson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Damian Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bartel Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Ballyguin's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dalton came free, but Bartel Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reidy Lavine in the 14th minute of play forced Ballyguin's goalkeeper Bartel Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bartel Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Dimson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Kelly in the 18th minute. Geoffrey Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Scott Willson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Bodibeve Glen Crowe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Damian Dalton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe. Bartel Crowe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blathma McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Bartel Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rollin McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barde Silke in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyguin's zone, Damian Dalton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartel Crowe came out of the goal and Damian Dalton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blathma McDecland in the 44th minute of play forced Letterlough's goalkeeper Roland Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Rollin McFrancise notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe. Bartel Crowe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennis Tracy was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Reidy McVictor. In the 53rd minute, Letterlough's Reidy Lavine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bartel Crowe. Bartel Crowe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Tomás Kelly charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Kelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Letterlough booed when Ballyguin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Kelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Reidy Lavine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartel Crowe. Ballyguin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reidy Lavine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Roland Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennis Tracy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70thth minute of the game Damian Dalton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ballyguin's Bartel Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rollin McFrancise in the 72nd minute of play. Bartel Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rollin McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Reidy Lavine fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Damian Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Blathma McDecland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyguin and the Letterlough players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Blathma McDecland. In the 85th match minute, Letterlough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beacan Robinson to maneuver through the defense. Bean Jameson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ballyguin's goal looked a bit too open when Bodibeve Glen Crowe came free, but Bartel Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Letterlough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eoin Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Letterlough getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rollin McFrancise hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Beacan Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ballyguin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Letterlough were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
