Bailey Myler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breslin Callaghan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Pawd Rutherford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bebhinn McTommy. Pawd Rutherford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Quirk Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27thth minute of the game Darick McFrancise who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buncrana FC's Bailey Myler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piers Sheridan in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bailey Myler saved Buncrana FC from getting behind. When Ballygar Town's Piers Sheridan in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buncrana FC's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Finnigan Cooney dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bebhinn McTommy, 2-1. Bailey Myler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darick McFrancise in the 42nd minute of the match. Darick McFrancise hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Ballygar Town's Bebhinn McTommy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ballygar Town from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ballygar Town's Seosamh Dimson was substituted for Terry Martyn. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piers Sheridan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Quirk Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebhinn McTommy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Patraic Deery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bebhinn McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quirk Kirby in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quirk Kirby in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebhinn McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Ballygar Town's goal looked a bit too open when Pawd Rutherford came free, but Bebhinn McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Quirk Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebhinn McTommy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballygar Town's Bebhinn McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finnigan Cooney in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Patraic Deery notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ballygar Town's Bebhinn McTommy. Bebhinn McTommy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pawd Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Darick McFrancise struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bailey Myler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballygar Town. Breaghdha Mullan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Darick McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ballygar Town booed when Buncrana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirk Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Piers Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballygar Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Piers Sheridan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bailey Myler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dolan Crowe charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dolan Crowe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Buncrana FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dolan Crowe hit a great ball. Donell Willson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piers Sheridan in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bailey Myler saved Buncrana FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Becan McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piers Sheridan came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bailey Myler could save by the left post. The supporters of Ballygar Town booed when Buncrana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buncrana FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
