Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Drumreilly's Breanainn Crowe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trien McMichel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ferdia Dempsey made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Drumreilly's goal looked a bit too open when Bivadas Dimson came free, but Ferdia Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breanainn Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Callaghan charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseph Callaghan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Drumreilly got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Callaghan. Cacey John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Callaghan in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Game Over booed when Drumreilly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breanainn Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacey John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breanainn Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trien McMichel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Colmcille Frankson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cacey John. Game Over's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Colmcille Frankson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Gehan Dillon fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drumreilly's protests and gave Gehan Dillon a yellow card for diving instead. Gehan Dillon hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Game Over's Jonathan Prunty in action when he in the 34th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Blayne Todd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ferdia Dempsey made a huge save. Colmcille Frankson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Colmcille Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacey John didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breanainn Crowe went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Drumreilly's Ferdia Dempsey got control of the ball when Trien McMichel tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blayne Todd to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tory Byrne during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Joseph Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Trien McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Blayne Todd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdia Dempsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 74th minute of the game Triain Myler made a throw-in which Jonathan Prunty played forward. 76 minutes into the match, Drumreilly's goal looked a bit too open when Blayne Todd came free, but Ferdia Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bivadas Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trien McMichel in the 81st minute of play forced Drumreilly's goalkeeper Ferdia Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdia Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Treno Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Breanainn Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumreilly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breanainn Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tory Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Drumreilly's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
