Barran Callaghan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barran Callaghan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Milan Fighters booed when Cogran AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barran Callaghan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Bartel McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogran AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartel McFrancise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bar Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beamard Martyn struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Bar Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cogran AFC. In the 13th match minute, Cogran AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coran Taylor to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartel McFrancise got free with Bar Dempsey in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conor Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conor Crowe in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cogran AFC defense, Gearroid McJon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blathmac Bayes. The Cogran AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blathmac Bayes should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beamard Martyn in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bar Dempsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Milan Fighters's Espen Fjederholt got a free kick in the 26th minute. Bar Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conor Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coinneach Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Blathmac Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bar Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Crowe in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gearroid McJon in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blathmac Bayes saved Cogran AFC from getting behind. Bar Dempsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartel McFrancise in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Beamard Martyn made a precise shot to the right of Bar Dempsey. Milan Fighters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartel McFrancise got free with Bar Dempsey in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Espen Fjederholt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bar Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Gearroid McJon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blathmac Bayes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beamard Martyn in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bar Dempsey saved Milan Fighters from getting behind. When Breasal Coyle fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cogran AFC's protests and gave Breasal Coyle a yellow card for diving instead. Breasal Coyle kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Conor Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Milan Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lavritz Ruge to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conor Crowe in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bar Dempsey saved Milan Fighters from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Milan Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Beamard Martyn came free, but Bar Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bar Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beamard Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bar Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conor Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bar Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartel McFrancise in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play Cogran AFC's Breasal Coyle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th match minute, Cogran AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breasal Coyle to maneuver through the defense. Cogran AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
