Louis Sharpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jacob Davenport tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Wally Leatherdale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Axbridge AFC's Perry Street was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Annscroft's Wally Leatherdale got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Nigel Deacon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annscroft fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Joshua Marsden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jacob Davenport made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Axbridge AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Annscroft.
