Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Axbridge AFC's Louis Sharpe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grant Hardcastle. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Sharpe in the 6th minute of play forced Keelby's goalkeeper Grant Hardcastle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Rodney Wardle notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Axbridge AFC's Perry Street. Perry Street was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodney Wardle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Street having to interfere. Joshua Marsden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Brent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joshua Marsden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Denis Brent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keelby's Rodney Wardle got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rodney Wardle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keelby's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodney Wardle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry Street breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Denis Brent came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Keelby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Brent couldn't finish the play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Sharpe to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Spurgeon during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Louis Sharpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Hardcastle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Sharpe ran back to his position shaking his head. Louis Sharpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grant Hardcastle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Joshua Marsden made a precise shot to the right of Grant Hardcastle. Keelby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Joshua Marsden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Louis Sharpe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Grant Hardcastle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute of the match, Denis Brent tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Perry Street saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
