Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darryl Parks got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Housham in the 8th minute of play forced Kingsbridge's goalkeeper Martyn Fowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Dom Dodd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Bochynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Holbrook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kazimierz Bochynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dom Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Birmingham Blaster FC's Kazimierz Bochynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Parks in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Birmingham Blaster FC booed when Kingsbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Yeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darryl Parks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Bochynski having to interfere. Darryl Parks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kazimierz Bochynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Joseph Housham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Dom Dodd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Bochynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Housham to make the kick off. Clive Quantrill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Bochynski having to interfere. When Clive Quantrill came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kingsbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clive Quantrill couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dom Dodd got free with Kazimierz Bochynski in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64thth minute of the game Joseph Housham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kingsbridge's Martyn Fowler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Byron Jenkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Kingsbridge's Darryl Parks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kazimierz Bochynski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Darryl Parks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingsbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birmingham Blaster FC the free kick. Darryl Parks kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Birmingham Blaster FC's goalkeeper Kazimierz Bochynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dom Dodd. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birmingham Blaster FC's goalkeeper Kazimierz Bochynski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birmingham Blaster FC's Kazimierz Bochynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Parks in the 86th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Kingsbridge's Kazimierz Bochynski threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Darryl Parks, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Kingsbridge booed when Birmingham Blaster FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Clarke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Birmingham Blaster FC's zone, Darryl Parks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Bochynski came out of the goal and Darryl Parks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Birmingham Blaster FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
