Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Darren Colt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Elvins in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Elvins in the 6th minute of play forced High Coniscliffe's goalkeeper Darren Colt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Ilfracombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristopher Barone to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Philip Orchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Lemerond was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Rob Crossley kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Boyd got free with Stefan Lemerond in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Philip Orchard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ilfracombe's Stefan Lemerond got control of the ball when Eric Boyd tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Eric Boyd fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored High Coniscliffe's protests and gave Eric Boyd a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes High Coniscliffe got a freekick which was hit by Eric Boyd. When Philip Orchard came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the High Coniscliffe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Orchard couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Austin Elvins to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes High Coniscliffe got a freekick which was hit by Billy Watkins. In the 57th minute Buster Oddy managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Darren Colt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Elvins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stan Falkingham took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darren Colt. Darren Colt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Stan Falkingham could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Darren Colt however easily saved by the left post. Philip Orchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Stefan Lemerond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ilfracombe's Austin Elvins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Rob Crossley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Darren Colt made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ilfracombe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
