Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nath Ward took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Don Wells shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Nowland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rackenford's Nath Ward got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th match minute, Rocker City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Meadowcroft to maneuver through the defense. Alfie Ferdinand, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Rackenford's Nath Ward in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rocker City's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Rocker City's Kurt Thackray threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adam Sanderson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 30 played minutes Rocker City got a freekick which was hit by Adam Sanderson. Nath Ward's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leigh Nowland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Rocker City defense, Don Wells kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leigh Nowland. The Rocker City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leigh Nowland should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, one of Rackenford:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rackenford. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Rocker City's Kris Ford got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kurt Thackray.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Sanderson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nath Ward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Kris Ford sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rackenford's Kurt Thackray didn't even have to move. Kurt Thackray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaz Reynolds in the 63rd minute of the match. Rocker City's Leigh Nowland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nath Ward in the 66th minute of play. Don Wells could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leigh Nowland made a huge save. With a little luck, Rocker City's Leigh Nowland got control of the ball when Don Wells tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rocker City's zone, Don Wells stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leigh Nowland came out of the goal and Don Wells tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Rocker City got a freekick which was hit by Carl Holden. The Rackenford supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rackenford would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
