Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rowan Letheren got the match started through his kick off. Patrick Beresford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, SEMI CROCS FC's Rowan Letheren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Marenghi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Axbridge's goalkeeper Ruben Marenghi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Beresford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Beresford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Francis Rice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francis Rice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ty Lester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francis Rice having to make a save. After 28 minutes, Patrick Beresford made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SEMI CROCS FC's Francis Rice tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Todd Cahill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ruben Marenghi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Beresford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Rice read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Patrick Beresford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Axbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Beresford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francis Rice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Howarth got free with Ruben Marenghi in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Lester in the 45th minute of play forced SEMI CROCS FC's goalkeeper Francis Rice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Beresford to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Rowan Letheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Marenghi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SEMI CROCS FC's Todd Cahill got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Patrick Beresford dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francis Rice, 0-2. 76 minutes into the game, Patrick Beresford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francis Rice. Patrick Beresford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 79 played minutes Axbridge got a freekick which was hit by Rex Ingram. When Patrick Beresford came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Axbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Beresford couldn't finish the play. Francis Rice had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Patrick Beresford from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ty Lester got free with Francis Rice in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SEMI CROCS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Axbridge were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
