In the 6th minute Barrie Brook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Beaumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrie Brook took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Beaumont. Barry Beaumont dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A.S Venice's Barry Beaumont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jez Wooding in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, A.S Venice's goal looked a bit too open when Jez Wooding came free, but Barry Beaumont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, A.S Venice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Riad to maneuver through the defense. Matt Maylett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Ellison having to interfere. A.S Venice's Barry Beaumont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barrie Brook in the 26th minute of play. Barry Beaumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jez Wooding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barry Beaumont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jez Wooding in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to A.S Venice getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Stuart Jones hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes A.S Venice got a freekick which was hit by Stan Savage. Jez Wooding scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barry Beaumont, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Todd Kitchen charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Todd Kitchen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Angelicas Secret Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Todd Kitchen hit a great ball. Stan Savage who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Phil Ellison when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A.S Venice's Barry Beaumont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Kitchen in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Deon Jones hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Rowan McNiven sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phil Ellison skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, A.S Venice's Barry Beaumont got control of the ball when Jez Wooding tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ken Simms lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 57 minutes into the game, one of A.S Venice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Barry Beaumont, was totally fooled by Angelicas Secret Club's Sammy Newby, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jez Wooding got free with Barry Beaumont in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rowan McNiven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Ellison having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stan Savage in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phil Ellison saved Angelicas Secret Club from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Jez Wooding could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Barry Beaumont however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 82 minutes, Matt Maylett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S Venice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Maylett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to A.S Venice getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stuart Jones hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Stan Savage put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Phil Ellison. The throw-in from Deon Jones in the 98th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.S Venice's Rowan McNiven. Rowan McNiven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Phil Ellison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Angelicas Secret Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
