Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luke Philpott started the match with the kick off. Luke Philpott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Philpott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jude Mullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jude Mullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Len Cuss, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Len Cuss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Len Cuss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whittlesey City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Len Cuss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luke Philpott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes Eltham United got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Clist. Charlie Noble took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jude Mullen. Eltham United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 26 played minutes, Whittlesey City's Joshua Hooker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jude Mullen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Whittlesey City reached it. Whittlesey City's Pedro Lowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cody Beavan in the 30th minute of play. Vincent Rogers tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jude Mullen. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Whittlesey City's Luke Philpott sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jude Mullen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Philpott in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Mullen saved Eltham United from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stew McMahon made a kick off. In the 62nd minute, Stew McMahon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Eltham United's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Philpott came free, but Jude Mullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luke Philpott in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jude Mullen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Len Cuss who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Jude Mullen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 80th minute of the match, Luke Philpott tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jude Mullen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Darryl Laverick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jude Mullen made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Len Cuss sent off a good shot on target. Stew McMahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Whittlesey City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
