Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Lumb started the match with the kick off. Kirkstall FC's Jamal Rain got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brynn Everett's late challenge caught a Silan fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brynn Everett helped the player get up and apologised. Brynn Everett hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, Silan fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Goodwick to maneuver through the defense. Eric Murphy came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Kirkstall FC's Jamal Rain. But to his dismay, Jamal Rain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Russ Sherman fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirkstall FC's protests and gave Russ Sherman a yellow card for diving instead. When Jude Lyons, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eric Murphy was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Kirkstall FC booed when Silan fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Rain in the 27th minute of play forced Silan fc's goalkeeper Eric Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Murphy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Lyons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Silan fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Ball to maneuver through the defense. Silan fc's Eric Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Lyons in the 35th minute of play. Eric Murphy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Lyons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kirkstall FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jude Lyons hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jude Lyons was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Silan fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Goodwick to maneuver through the defense. Silan fc's Eric Murphy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Silan fc from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirkstall FC's goalkeeper Jeff Price, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Murphy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Lyons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Lyons in the 68th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Silan fc got a freekick which was hit by Rory Hill. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kirkstall FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
