Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Harlow AFC's Alexander Frost started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Louis Bancroft hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Gordon Eldridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Frost in the 7th minute of the match. Connor Beverley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Kempson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sol Osbourne came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Harlow AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sol Osbourne couldn't finish the play. If Alexander Frost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sol Osbourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Eldridge having to interfere. Oulton Broad FC's Danny Kempson got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sol Nicholson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Oulton Broad FC booed when Harlow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Bancroft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sol Nicholson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Byron Allott was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Harlow AFC's Connor Beverley got control of the ball when Ashley Speed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danny Kempson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Beverley having to interfere. Connor Beverley came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Oulton Broad FC's Ashley Speed. But to his dismay, Ashley Speed quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alexander Frost struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gordon Eldridge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harlow AFC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danny Kempson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ashley Speed struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Connor Beverley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oulton Broad FC. In the 61st minute of the match Oulton Broad FC got a corner. Harlow AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Byron Allott ran over to the corner to take the kick. Byron Allott made a great header on Oulton Broad FC's corner, it was just that Harlow AFC's Connor Beverley managed to reach the ball for a save. After 65 played minutes Harlow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reg Drake. 71 minutes into the match, Harlow AFC's Alexander Frost sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gordon Eldridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Oulton Broad FC's Gordon Eldridge got control of the ball when Sol Osbourne tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Sol Osbourne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harlow AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sol Osbourne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Oulton Broad FC's Ashley Speed in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harlow AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Sol Osbourne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harlow AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oulton Broad FC the free kick. Sol Osbourne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oulton Broad FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Harlow AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
