Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 5 played minutes Heckmondwike FC got a freekick which was hit by Ash Windsor. After recieving a nice pass, Hadleigh's Pierce Moore tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cliff Medley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matty Ricketts having to interfere. Matty Ricketts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Medley, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Ash Windsor fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heckmondwike FC's protests and gave Ash Windsor a yellow card for diving instead. Ash Windsor kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Pierce Moore was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Heckmondwike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Hewitt came free, but Matty Ricketts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sean Midgley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hadleigh's Albert Beech got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Sammy Lester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hadleigh's Freddy Bullard didn't even have to move. Cliff Medley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Bullard made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sean Midgley sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, one of Hadleigh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hadleigh. The goalkeeper, Freddy Bullard, was totally fooled by Heckmondwike FC's Sammy Lester, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Freddy Bullard made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sean Midgley sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Matthew Hewitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Ricketts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cliff Medley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matty Ricketts having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Jay Huxtable managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heckmondwike FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Huxtable was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sean Midgley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Bullard having to interfere. Cliff Medley in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matty Ricketts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Heckmondwike FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ash Windsor hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Sean Midgley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matty Ricketts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Hewitt in the 81st minute of play. Jay Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Bullard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Huxtable, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jay Huxtable in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Bullard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Heckmondwike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Hewitt came free, but Matty Ricketts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Heckmondwike FC had won after a very even match.
