The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Reus was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Matthew Hewitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tristram Branston's late challenge caught a Hadleigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristram Branston helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hadleigh booed when Azzas Wonders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristram Branston didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Hewitt in the 60th minute of play forced Azzas Wonders's goalkeeper Nikiforos Thomaidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Bullard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Reus in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Pierce Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hadleigh's Freddy Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necaettin Sıbgatullah in the 70th minute of play. Nikiforos Thomaidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Hewitt in the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Necaettin Sıbgatullah in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Bullard saved Hadleigh from getting behind. Marco Reus was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Azzas Wonders's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
