After having played for 13 minutes, Kris Bourne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hampton in Arden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Bourne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Rowan Sutcliffe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Shearer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Shearer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Bourne in the 16th minute of the match. After 17th play minutes Rowan Sutcliffe shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Tristan Shearer and just under the crossbar into goal. If Steven Warrender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Steven Warrender fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester-Lionited-FC's protests and gave Steven Warrender a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester-Lionited-FC's Steven Warrender got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tristan Shearer came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hampton in Arden's Rowan Sutcliffe. But to his dismay, Rowan Sutcliffe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Steven Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Auckland having to interfere. If Rowan Sutcliffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Rowan Sutcliffe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tristan Shearer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Warrender to make the kick off. Tristan Shearer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Bourne in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes, Jay Holdcroft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester-Lionited-FC and the Hampton in Arden players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Manchester-Lionited-FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jay Holdcroft hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Neil Hayes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Shearer was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Kris Bourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Shearer having to interfere. Tristan Shearer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Bourne's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the game, Gerry Furniss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hampton in Arden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester-Lionited-FC the free kick. In the 67th minute, Gerry Furniss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kris Bourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tristan Shearer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manchester-Lionited-FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kenny Monk was slow to take the kick. During this time Hampton in Arden's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Hampton in Arden's corner Kenny Monk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tristan Shearer quite easily take care of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Manchester-Lionited-FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Bourne came free, but Tristan Shearer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rowan Sutcliffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Kris Bourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Shearer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Auckland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Warrender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Manchester-Lionited-FC booed when Hampton in Arden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Hayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Kris Bourne dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tristan Shearer, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Bourne in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Shearer saved Manchester-Lionited-FC from getting behind. Manchester-Lionited-FC's Tristan Shearer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester-Lionited-FC from getting a goal against them. Kris Bourne succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Hampton in Arden left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester-Lionited-FC.
