Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Weybridge FC's Jacob Speed started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Dion Basham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beckermet AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dion Basham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Paine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Speed in the 8th minute of play. Jacob Speed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimmy Newton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Beckermet AFC defense, Clive Morrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Paine. The Beckermet AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Paine should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Beckermet AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Speed came free, but Edward Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Reuben Hinshelwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Newton got free with Romeo Day in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Wes Willetts fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Weybridge FC's protests and gave Wes Willetts a yellow card for diving instead. Wes Willetts hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jimmy Newton came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Romeo Day could save by the left post. In the 35th minute, Dion Basham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Ivor Woodford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beckermet AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivor Woodford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Day made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jimmy Newton sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dion Basham made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jimmy Newton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beckermet AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 60 minutes of play, Beckermet AFC's Jimmy Newton made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clive Morrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Newton might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Newton ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacob Speed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jacob Speed's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Paine was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. A collision led to Beckermet AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ivor Woodford hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Newton in the 84th minute of play forced Weybridge FC's goalkeeper Romeo Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Beckermet AFC's zone, Jacob Speed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Paine came out of the goal and Jacob Speed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Beckermet AFC's Edward Paine got control of the ball when Clive Morrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beckermet AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
