Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joe Craven took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Onidek's Ivan Clement got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Shane Watkinson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Wimbledon City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Watkinson couldn't finish the play. Wimbledon City's Silvester Yorke got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Oliver during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Wimbledon City got a freekick which was hit by John Oliver. Ash Riad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnny Digby. Wimbledon City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 11 played minutes Wimbledon City got a freekick which was hit by Terry Shepherd. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvester Yorke during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Joe Craven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Digby was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Silvester Yorke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Saunders having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Allan Steadman came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Onidek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Steadman couldn't finish the play. Kristopher Naisbitt kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Johnny Digby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Craven, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Watkinson in the 61st minute of play forced Onidek's goalkeeper Duncan Saunders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Stonebridge charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Stonebridge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wimbledon City getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dean Stonebridge hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Shane Watkinson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duncan Saunders was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Duncan Saunders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvester Yorke in the 73rd minute of play. Silvester Yorke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Duncan Saunders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Joe Craven dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johnny Digby, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Clement during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Onidek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Clement to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Kristopher Naisbitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wimbledon City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onidek the free kick. Kristopher Naisbitt kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Silvester Yorke struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Duncan Saunders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wimbledon City. If Silvester Yorke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvester Yorke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Duncan Saunders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wimbledon City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Onidek for a fine match.
