Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brian Nailor made the kick off which started today's match. Brian Nailor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 played minutes, Barmby on the Marsh's Adam Neville shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George McKeown came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barmby on the Marsh reached it. Joe Colbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sills having to interfere. Marc Harding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George McKeown having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Nailor in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George McKeown saved Westbury-sub-Mendip United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Blake in the 22nd minute of play forced Westbury-sub-Mendip United's goalkeeper George McKeown to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George McKeown came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Barmby on the Marsh's Will Blake. But to his dismay, Will Blake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 35th match minute, Westbury-sub-Mendip United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deon Stiles to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Westbury-sub-Mendip United's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Middleton came free, but George McKeown reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Barmby on the Marsh's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Colbert came free, but Damian Sills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Wishart's late challenge caught a Barmby on the Marsh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andre Wishart helped the player get up and apologised. Andre Wishart kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joe Colbert to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Colbert in the 54th minute of play forced Barmby on the Marsh's goalkeeper Damian Sills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Rothwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Damian Sills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Colbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Sills having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Colbert in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Sills prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Sills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Colbert in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Dixon in the 84th minute of play forced Westbury-sub-Mendip United's goalkeeper George McKeown to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Nailor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George McKeown having to interfere. In the 87th minute Gus Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George McKeown saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brian Nailor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Nailor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. George McKeown tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barmby on the Marsh's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
