Jake McKeown kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Leatherdale in the 9th minute of play forced Modrani bocani's goalkeeper Mark Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Frizzell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vince Floyd during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vince Floyd hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Ossett FC's Iain Hampton broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Jools Mawson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ossett FC's Jordan Myers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marek Tompkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Myers having to interfere. Jools Mawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ossett FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Frizzell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Wray's late challenge caught a Ossett FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Wray helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Modrani bocani got a freekick which was hit by Peter Wray. Louie Haley struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mark Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ossett FC. In the 51st minute Jasper Beardsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Myers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jools Mawson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Louie Haley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Peter Frizzell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modrani bocani's Mark Todd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modrani bocani's Mark Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Haley in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Modrani bocani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Beardsley to maneuver through the defense. Peter Frizzell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Roche was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Modrani bocani's Mark Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Haley in the 84th minute of play. The Ossett FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Ossett FC's Peter Frizzell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute of the match Geoff Osborn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Todd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Oscar Dumpleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iain Hampton missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mark Todd right hand side. If Peter Frizzell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
