Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jools Woodhouse made the kick off which started today's match. Darren Longden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Docklands got a freekick which was hit by Darren Durrant. Jude Fisher came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Elsdon's Silvester Eglington. But to his dismay, Silvester Eglington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jude Fisher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvester Eglington's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvester Eglington in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jude Fisher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jack Attenborough hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Will Mowlem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elsdon's supporters rose to their feet, but Will Mowlem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jude Fisher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Silvester Eglington made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jack Attenborough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Jools Woodhouse made a precise shot to the right of Ricky Short. Elsdon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Will Mowlem struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jude Fisher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elsdon. Elsdon's Silvester Eglington was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Orson Shields came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Docklands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orson Shields couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Kirk Toulson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jude Fisher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvester Eglington, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Elsdon's Ricky Short played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jools Woodhouse in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Docklands's goalkeeper Jude Fisher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Mowlem. Orson Shields took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricky Short. Ricky Short dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
