Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wickersley's Perry Key started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Wickersley's Garth Corbridge got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Johnnie Baker sped through Wickersley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rowan Whitford. Peter Kaye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Key in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Wickersley booed when Jarrow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristopher Brazier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathanial Reading in the 25th minute of play forced Wickersley's goalkeeper Rowan Whitford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Wickersley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Key to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nathanial Reading managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarrow's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathanial Reading was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowan Whitford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute Perry Key shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Kaye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Wickersley's Garth Corbridge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Kaye made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Garth Corbridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Jarrow's Johnnie Baker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowan Whitford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 44 in the game by Johnnie Baker from a close distance when the talented Rowan Whitford managed to make a qualified save. Wickersley's players were relieved. Perry Key sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Garth Corbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Wickersley were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nathanial Reading struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Rowan Whitford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarrow. Perry Key received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Peter Kaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wickersley's goalkeeper Rowan Whitford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johnnie Baker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rowan Whitford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnnie Baker in the 60th minute of play. Peter Kaye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Key, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Wickersley's Perry Key dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Garth Corbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Peter Kaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Kaye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Key in the 82nd minute of the match. If Nathanial Reading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garth Corbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Peter Kaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Perry Key got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Wickersley left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jarrow.
