Robert Woodford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Hilton in the 72nd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Kirk Hehir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hampton in Arden United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chislehurst the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Hampton in Arden United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Hehir to maneuver through the defense. Fred Hilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Woodford having to interfere. A collision led to Chislehurst getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Camron Brearley hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hampton in Arden United's Ronan Oliver tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chislehurst eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
