Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Des Downes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Lytham City's goalkeeper Connor Wendon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ritchie Grainger. 4 minutes into the game, Glyn Munday was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lytham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilford United the free kick. In the 5th minute, Glyn Munday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritchie Grainger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Wendon having to interfere. When Fred Morgan came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lytham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Morgan couldn't finish the play. Isaac Breckin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Morgan in the 18th minute of the match. Theo Bamford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Fred Morgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lytham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Morgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Morgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Breckin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ilford United's Pierre Foley got a free kick in the 27th minute. Isaac Breckin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Morgan's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Connor Wendon made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ritchie Grainger sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th play minute Ritchie Grainger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Connor Wendon. 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Ilford United's Ritchie Grainger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Connor Wendon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Terry Soussan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lytham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilford United the free kick. Terry Soussan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Isaac Breckin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Morgan in the 46th minute of the match.

Ritchie Grainger's late challenge caught a Lytham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ritchie Grainger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Terry Soussan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Breckin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Morgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Des Downes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Lytham City's Fred Morgan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, Lytham City's goal looked a bit too open when Ritchie Grainger came free, but Connor Wendon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ilford United's Ritchie Grainger in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Theo Bamford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Isaac Breckin made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ritchie Grainger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ritchie Grainger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Connor Wendon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ritchie Grainger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Soussan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ilford United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lytham City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
