Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robert Neville got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Walshaw City's Kirk Bailey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian East. Julian East yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Graham Illingworth charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Graham Illingworth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Graham Illingworth hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Julian East showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Bailey in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Walshaw City's Ronan Delamore got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Stockbridge's Graham Leonard in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walshaw City's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, James Farmer took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julian East to make any attempt to save it. James Farmer struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Julian East didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walshaw City. In the 31st minute, Ronan Delamore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stockbridge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Kirk Bailey scored to the left of an out of position Julian East, making the score, 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Walshaw City's zone, Graham Illingworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Searle came out of the goal and Graham Illingworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kirk Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirk Bailey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian East read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. James Farmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirk Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julian East tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, James Farmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirk Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian East having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, James Farmer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian East. Stockbridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Farmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Philip Searle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Neville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, James Farmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walshaw City's supporters rose to their feet, but James Farmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian East breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes of play, Walshaw City's Kirk Bailey made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian East was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Robert Neville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
