Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ritchie Brindley took the kick off in the first half of the match. Shawn Slater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huey Emmerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Bradbury read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Shawn Slater reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simon Bradbury. The goal made the score 1-0. Ritchie Brindley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Hammond having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Clevedon's Ritchie Brindley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nigel Hammond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Byron Pollard struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nigel Hammond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clevedon. In the 22nd minute, Alf Kenworthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Bradbury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Slater in the 24th minute of play. If Shawn Slater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match Pete Summerfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nigel Hammond skillfully saved the ball. Ged Fitzgerald kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Darius Townsend, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Byron Pollard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clevedon:s Simon Bradbury showed great skill when he stopped Steven Mason:s penalty. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shawn Slater to make the kick off. Nigel Hammond was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ritchie Brindley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 58th minute Shawn Slater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Bradbury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to The Wasps's Joel McRobbie getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Shawn Slater came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the The Wasps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Slater couldn't finish the play. Ashley Ratcliffe hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes in the game Jeff Price after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Nigel Hammond. A very good opportunity. When Clevedon's Ritchie Brindley in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Wasps's goalie prevented a goal. Huey Emmerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ritchie Brindley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nigel Hammond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Byron Pollard might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nigel Hammond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Byron Pollard ran back to his position shaking his head.
