But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnie Stansfield couldn't finish the play. Mitch Young kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Matty Pinder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wolves were furious when Vinnie Reeve was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ruben Woodford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod White in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ronnie Stansfield notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wolves's Ruben Woodford. After the first half Plumstead were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seth Beck to make the kick off. Max Griggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Day in the 57th minute of the match.
