Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Johnathan Duckworth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Ronnie Stansfield came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Plumstead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnie Stansfield couldn't finish the play. Mitch Young kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Matty Pinder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wolves were furious when Vinnie Reeve was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ruben Woodford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod White in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ronnie Stansfield notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wolves's Ruben Woodford. Ruben Woodford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Plumstead's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Johnathan Duckworth fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Day got free with Max Griggs in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Rhys Froggatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnathan Duckworth struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Max Griggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolves. Wolves's Ruben Woodford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Beck in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Plumstead were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seth Beck to make the kick off. Max Griggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Day in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Plumstead's Matty Pinder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ruben Woodford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Stansfield in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tod White got free with Ruben Woodford in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnathan Duckworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Griggs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The Plumstead fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Matty Pinder's late challenge caught a Wolves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matty Pinder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Plumstead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matty Pinder to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Joe Day shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Griggs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Johnathan Duckworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Griggs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Wolves lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
