Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gary Hales kicked off to start the match. Micheal Osbourne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Sills's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. With his leg Micheal Osbourne managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Paignton Panthers's Wally Adamson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 13 minutes, Felix Mimms mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eye and the Paignton Panthers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Mimms kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Paignton Panthers's Ethan Brown tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darius Boothroyd in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Jobling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes Paignton Panthers's Wally Adamson stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Micheal Osbourne stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Eye of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, George Sills dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Micheal Osbourne, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Darius Boothroyd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eye's supporters rose to their feet, but Darius Boothroyd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Jobling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Sills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micheal Osbourne having to interfere. Wally Adamson might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Micheal Osbourne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wally Adamson ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Eye booed when Paignton Panthers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terry Gill didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Sills was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Eye getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mark Townson hit a great ball. Samuel Jobling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Hales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Eye booed when Paignton Panthers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Adamson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Eye's Darius Boothroyd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Jobling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Jobling made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Darius Boothroyd sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, Paignton Panthers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Gill to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Gary Hales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gary Hales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius Boothroyd came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Jobling could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wally Adamson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Micheal Osbourne saved Eye from getting behind. With his leg Samuel Jobling managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Eye's Darius Boothroyd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. George Sills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darius Boothroyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Samuel Jobling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Hill charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Hill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Paignton Panthers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Hill to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Jobling made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Darius Boothroyd sent off a good shot on target. Paignton Panthers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
