Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathon Pack started the match with the kick off. Michael Larssons short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Reggie Watson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathon Pack hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Michael Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Dodge City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Armitage to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Jonathon Pack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Michael Larsson made the kick off in the second half. Josh Caine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Blair Rocastle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josh Caine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blair Rocastle having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josh Caine got free with Blair Rocastle in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blair Rocastle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathon Pack, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Josh Caine took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blair Rocastle. Blair Rocastle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Blair Rocastle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josh Caine in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Dodge City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keiran Basterfield to maneuver through the defense. Michael Larsson scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reggie Watson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reggie Watson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Qvarnström in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reggie Watson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Michael Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodge City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dodge City's Zak Slade got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Thatcham FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Dodge City had held the ball for most of the match.
