Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Perry Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaz Goldthorpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AFC Riverdene getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Loyd Bow hit a great ball. Dom Milner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Andre Eadan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlton Haugue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perry Thomas having to make a save. Carl Granville hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Darren Batty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Riverdene's Perry Thomas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Gaz Goldthorpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gaz Goldthorpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaz Goldthorpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Riverdene's zone, Gaz Goldthorpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perry Thomas came out of the goal and Gaz Goldthorpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 53 in the game by Carlton Haugue from a close distance when the talented Perry Thomas managed to make a qualified save. AFC Riverdene's players were relieved. Carlton Haugue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Thomas having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Lee Kemp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Eadan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Milner in the 62nd minute of play. AFC Riverdene's Dom Milner got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Riverdene's Perry Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaz Goldthorpe in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Drew Renwick shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perry Thomas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Riverdene's zone, Gaz Goldthorpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perry Thomas came out of the goal and Gaz Goldthorpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lee Kemp during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded LFC Forever left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AFC Riverdene.
