Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Darryl Markham made the kick off and thus started the match. Ruben Boothroyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivor Sands in the 2nd minute. After a rather tough play, Belvedere United's Ross Currie got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Belvedere United getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ross Currie hit a great ball. Tod Horseman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Romeo Dowrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, New Milton's Darryl Markham made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Dowrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martyn Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Tod Horseman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Carl Turner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dowrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Lenny Cuss got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruben Boothroyd was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 31 minutes into the game, New Milton's Martyn Hughes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Dowrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. New Milton's Martyn Hughes pulled a muscle in his back after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 42 played minutes Belvedere United got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Cuss. Belvedere United's Lenny Cuss got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Reg Budge in the 46th minute really tested Ruben Boothroyd's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristian Allanson during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. John Hold kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivor Sands to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivor Sands in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Boothroyd saved New Milton from getting behind. Ruben Boothroyd came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Belvedere United's Ivor Sands. But to his dismay, Ivor Sands quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ivor Sands who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Milton's Ruben Boothroyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belvedere United's Romeo Dowrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Belvedere United from getting a goal against them. Ruben Boothroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivor Sands, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Belvedere United getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. John Hold hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Belvedere United's Kristian Allanson got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match, Tod Horseman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Dowrick was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Darryl Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivor Sands kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Darryl Markham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Milton and the Belvedere United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ivor Sands managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belvedere United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivor Sands was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Boothroyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Boothroyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivor Sands in the 96th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, Tod Horseman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Dowrick. Belvedere United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tod Horseman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Belvedere United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
