Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sean Claydon made the kick off and thus started the match. Catford United's Marc Allott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Lock in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brendon Cooper during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Catford United got a freekick which was hit by Brendon Cooper. Curtis Stiles, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Worcester Park AFC's Vinnie Gunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Allott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scott Reed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, one of Worcester Park AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Worcester Park AFC. In the 20th minute, the referee gave Catford United a penalty. Sonny Burton looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Ronnie Beckett. If Scott Reed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sean Claydon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Catford United's Scott Reed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Beckett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scott Reed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Beckett having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinnie Gunn made a kick off. If Scott Reed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sean Claydon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronnie Beckett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 64th play minute Frankie Lock came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marc Allott. 1-1. 76 minutes into the match, Worcester Park AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Claydon came free, but Ronnie Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beinn Longstaff hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ronnie Beckett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Reed, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Scott Reed had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronnie Beckett. Worcester Park AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Scott Reed was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ronnie Beckett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sean Claydon's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ronnie Beckett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Claydon in the 92nd minute of the match. Scott Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catford United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
