Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nath Perkins got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Horwich's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Bateman came free, but Benjamin Hickson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Moleicester City getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Nath Perkins hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Danny Dobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Beckham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Moleicester City's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Dobson came free, but Cody Beckham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damon Button struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cody Beckham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horwich. When Joel Maxwell fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horwich's protests and gave Joel Maxwell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Moleicester City booed when Horwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Maxwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Graham Kerridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Hickson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Bateman in the 36th minute of the match. Benjamin Hickson came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Moleicester City's Nath Perkins. But to his dismay, Nath Perkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Greg Potts lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Damon Button placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Horwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Dobson to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Moleicester City's Ben Notley tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Danny Dobson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zack Wise during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Horwich's zone, Nath Perkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Hickson came out of the goal and Nath Perkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nath Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Syd Cross sped through Horwich's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Hickson. If Nath Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
