In the 5th minute, Nicky Castleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Foxton FC booed when The Gosses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Slator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky Castleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Caleb Middlewood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joshua Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Holdcroft, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Folwill in the 17th minute of play forced Foxton FC's goalkeeper Joshua Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Cummings in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Sebastien Holdcroft ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joshua Simpson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Nicky Castleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Simpson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jasper Folwill went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Pryor in the 45th minute of play forced Foxton FC's goalkeeper Joshua Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Brandon Hanley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joshua Simpson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Jasper Folwill made the kick off in the second half. Joshua Simpson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brandon Hanley went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Joshua Simpson was a little too slow when Neil Cummings got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-6. 61 minutes into the match, Nicky Castleton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caleb Middlewood. The Gosses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicky Castleton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Joshua Simpson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastien Holdcroft in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, The Gosses's Brandon Hanley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joshua Simpson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. When Jasper Folwill came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the The Gosses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasper Folwill couldn't finish the play. Joshua Simpson was a little too slow when Neil Cummings got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-8. With a little luck, Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson got control of the ball when Neil Cummings tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joshua Simpson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickey Pryor in the 85th minute of the match. Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Foxton FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Foxton FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dale Appleton hit a great ball. Joshua Simpson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Trev Vickers. Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Foxton FC from getting a goal against them. The Gosses's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
