Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jay Hardcastle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gordon Lawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gough having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Foxton FC's goalkeeper Joshua Simpson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glen Airton. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Foxton FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aaron Barton was slow to take the kick. During this time Petersfield City's players had a chance to rest. Petersfield City's Aaron Barton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joshua Simpson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joshua Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay Hardcastle in the 13th minute of play. Neil Pamplin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Joshua Simpson made a huge save. In the 16th minute Jay Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Simpson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glen Airton in the 18th minute. Jay Hardcastle struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Joshua Simpson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petersfield City. Petersfield City's Stefan Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Castleton in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Foxton FC got a corner. Petersfield City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pete Bird ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pete Bird got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Gough quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute, Petersfield City's Glen Airton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Joshua Simpson made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Micheal Pitt sent off a good shot on target. Jay Hardcastle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joshua Simpson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson got control of the ball when Glen Airton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicky Castleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gough having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Petersfield City's Glen Airton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joshua Simpson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gordon Lawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glen Airton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Joshua Simpson made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nicky Castleton made the kick off in the second half. Joshua Simpson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Hardcastle in the 53rd minute of the match. Joshua Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Adamson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Hardcastle in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Foxton FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aaron Barton was slow to take the kick. During this time Petersfield City's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micheal Pitt in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joshua Simpson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Airton in the 70th minute of play forced Foxton FC's goalkeeper Joshua Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Foxton FC defense, Jay Adamson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joshua Simpson. The Foxton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joshua Simpson should have stopped the shot. Joshua Simpson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Petersfield City's Jay Adamson. But to his dismay, Jay Adamson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 89 minutes into the match, Foxton FC's Gordon Lawson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Gough narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joshua Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Adamson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Airton in the 95th minute of play.
