The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mickey Dobbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rupert Lawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Bourne End's Austin Furlong dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Bristol St George United's Rupert Lawson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Bristol St George United from getting a goal against them. Donny Griffin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jools Crooks having to interfere. Donny Griffin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Hazledine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jools Crooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Griffin in the 25th minute of play forced Bourne End's goalkeeper Jools Crooks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Bourne End's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Griffin came free, but Jools Crooks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austin Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Lawson having to interfere. Rupert Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Furlong in the 33rd minute of play. Austin Furlong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rupert Lawson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mickey Dobbs went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Andre Hazledine made the kick off in the second half. Andre Hazledine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jools Crooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Bourne End's goalkeeper Jools Crooks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donny Griffin. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mickey Dobbs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourne End's supporters rose to their feet, but Mickey Dobbs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rupert Lawson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Austin Furlong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bourne End getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Connor Blake hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Bristol St George United's Ashley Husband shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jools Crooks came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bristol St George United reached it. If Donny Griffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jools Crooks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Hazledine in the 72nd minute of play. If Mickey Dobbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andre Hazledine in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jools Crooks saved Bourne End from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Donny Griffin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bristol St George United's supporters rose to their feet, but Donny Griffin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jools Crooks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rupert Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Dobbs in the 80th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Connor Blake shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rupert Lawson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bourne End's zone, Andre Hazledine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jools Crooks came out of the goal and Andre Hazledine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bourne End's Bobby Webster got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bourne End had won after a very even match.
