The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rory Woods's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sid Illingworth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC KOKOŁAJE-JEDLICE's goal looked a bit too open when John-Paul Hylton came free, but Ron Atkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rory Woods blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sid Illingworth having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Den Winstanley took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ron Atkins to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute, Keanu Kershaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Den Winstanley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moon Wizards United's supporters rose to their feet, but Den Winstanley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ron Atkins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Den Winstanley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ron Atkins. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. With his leg Ron Atkins managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Moon Wizards United's Den Winstanley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Den Winstanley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Ron Atkins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, FC KOKOŁAJE-JEDLICE's goalkeeper Ron Atkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Den Winstanley. Dom Hehir kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match.
