Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Spike Long started the match with the kick off. Tod Ross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pierce Morgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvester Blackwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Long in the 12th minute of play. Silvester Blackwell made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Romeo Vaughn sent off a good shot on target. Hoylake's Silvester Blackwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Long in the 16th minute of play. Spike Long had several of the Hoylake's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Silvester Blackwell as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Blacknell in the 21st minute of play forced Haslemere's goalkeeper Pierce Morgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sammy Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haslemere's Pierce Morgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Freddie Hales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Sammy Wright had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierce Morgan. Haslemere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sammy Wright was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Romeo Vaughn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Vaughn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Silvester Blackwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scott Blacknell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierce Morgan having to interfere. Spike Long fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvester Blackwell having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vernon Panther during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vernon Panther kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Sammy Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Haslemere players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hoylake were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scott Blacknell to strike the kick off in the second half. Freddie Hales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Haslemere's Romeo Vaughn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvester Blackwell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of Hoylake booed when Haslemere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Hales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scott Blacknell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Freddie Hales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72ndth minute of the game Scott Blacknell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haslemere's Pierce Morgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th match minute, Hoylake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Wright to maneuver through the defense. Spike Long received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Silvester Blackwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Romeo Vaughn came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Haslemere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Vaughn couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoylake's goalkeeper Silvester Blackwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Vaughn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Romeo Vaughn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvester Blackwell. Hoylake's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Vaughn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The Hoylake players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Haslemere from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
