Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philip Nicoll started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Reggie Ashworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marske-by-the-Sea and the Musonda athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Musonda athletic getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sacha Doona hit a great ball. The supporters of Marske-by-the-Sea booed when Musonda athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Dunne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristopher Golding took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Scott Preston. Scott Preston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Scott Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Nicoll in the 15th minute of the match. Musonda athletic were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Marske-by-the-Sea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mickey Dunne took the corner. In the 18thth minute of the game Kristopher Golding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marske-by-the-Sea's Scott Preston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Scott Preston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristopher Golding's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Scott Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyn Swanson in the 24th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Zackary Stockdale made a precise shot to the right of Duncan Pickering. Musonda athletic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Musonda athletic's zone, Zackary Stockdale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duncan Pickering came out of the goal and Zackary Stockdale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duncan Pickering made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Zackary Stockdale sent off a good shot on target. Scott Preston came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Musonda athletic's Kristopher Golding. But to his dismay, Kristopher Golding quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 47th match minute, Musonda athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sacha Doona to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zackary Stockdale to strike the kick off in the second half. Martyn Swanson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Scott Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Nicoll in the 54th minute of the match. Scott Preston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martyn Swanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Zackary Stockdale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Nicoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Preston having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sacha Doona got free with Scott Preston in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scott Preston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martyn Swanson in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Martyn Swanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Philip Nicoll reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Scott Preston. The goal made the score 1-3. Marske-by-the-Sea made a substitution. Travis Bourne replaced Rodd Burton. In the 79th minute, Martyn Swanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Marske-by-the-Sea's goalkeeper Scott Preston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristopher Golding. Marske-by-the-Sea's Scott Preston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Swanson in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Marske-by-the-Sea getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Simeon Baxter hit a great ball. The long shot by Mickey Dunne in the 90th minute really tested Scott Preston's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hugh Hayward's late challenge caught a Marske-by-the-Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugh Hayward helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Musonda athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugh Hayward to maneuver through the defense. Musonda athletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
