Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Brumfitt made the kick off and thus started the match. Robbie Percival fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Drake having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Yate town's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Brumfitt came free, but Ashley Drake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ashley Drake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Brumfitt in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yate town's Geoff Eldridge got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Yate town's Ashley Drake got control of the ball when Robbie Percival tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yate town's Ashley Drake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Yate town from getting a goal against them. Robbie Percival received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ashley Drake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yate town's Chesney Zamora got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geoff Eldridge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alec Thomson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Alec Thomson came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Yate town's Chesney Zamora. But to his dismay, Chesney Zamora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alec Thomson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chesney Zamora in the 46th minute of the match. Robbie Percival who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Ashley Drake when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Geoff Eldridge made the kick off in the second half. Brentford's Barrie Krief got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robbie Percival's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ashley Drake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Yate town's Ashley Drake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Brumfitt in the 61st minute of play. Robbie Percival struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ashley Drake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brentford. Robbie Percival sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Jonathan Brumfitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ashley Drake was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jonathan Brumfitt struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ashley Drake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brentford. Robbie Percival received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ashley Drake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brentford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Dale Beard scored to the left of an out of position Alec Thomson, making the score, 2-2. Brentford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Chesney Zamora scored to the left of an out of position Alec Thomson, making the score, 2-3. Robbie Percival blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ashley Drake having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Robbie Percival managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brentford's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Percival was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ashley Drake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Robbie Percival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashley Drake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chesney Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Thomson having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Brentford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Carey to maneuver through the defense. Yate town's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
